Oklahoma Aquarium Logo Redesign
As part of a major rebrand, I created a bold new logo for the Oklahoma Aquarium, featuring the institution’s most iconic species: the bull shark. The swirling school of fish forms a clean, circular mark that balances energy with clarity. Designed for high versatility across print and digital, the final logo delivers a strong, recognizable identity that reflects the aquarium’s unique offerings and mission.

Early Concepts
These are initial logo explorations, including concepts with the Oklahoma state shape. One surprising challenge was the shark’s eye—too much detail made it look strange (a doll’s eye, as Quint would say…). In the end, I went with a clean oval form that suggested a powerful predator while keeping the design bold and simple.

This logo was designed for Alligator Alley, a permanent donor installation centered around a life-size bronze alligator. Supporters can purchase personalized bricks to be placed prominently in the space—leaving a lasting legacy at the Oklahoma Aquarium.

Part of the Children’s Zoo redesign, this playful logo reflects the fun, hands-on nature of the Goat Encounter—where guests can pet goats and watch them climb overhead on a raised ramp. Whimsical, colorful, and designed to delight young visitors.

This logo was created for Flight, a walk-through butterfly exhibit at the Santa Ana Zoo.
